A 21-metre steel expedition boat
The Sibon Laut (formerly Santana Laut) was built in Fremantle, Western Australia, by Australian Shipbuilding Industries and converted into a surf charter in 2015. With a 7.4 m beam and a steel hull, she is steady and seaworthy on the longer runs north to the Banyak and Telo islands.
Seven air-conditioned cabins
A double cabin on the main deck and, on the lower deck, two more doubles, two cabins with four bunks and two with two bunks. Every accommodation area is air-conditioned, which makes the Laut a great fit for groups of friends and families.
Scania main engine and 9,000 litres of fresh water a day
A turbocharged 8-cylinder Scania diesel with a Twin Disc gearbox, four generators and a three-membrane watermaker producing around 9,000 litres a day. The engine room is fully alarmed, with bilge and fire alarms watched from the wheelhouse.
Surf, fish and explore
A big after deck, a forward saloon and a top deck for sunset sessions. Between swells there is stand up paddle, snorkelling, fishing, tender trips, beach days and village tours, plus beach breaks that suit kids and beginners.
